We are thrilled to have an agenda packed with genuinely awesome and sought after speakers, read on for an overview of who and what to expect.



Merryn Somerset Webb, Editor in Chief of UK personal finance magazine MoneyWeek, will give us insights on the economic landscape; considering if globalisation is in reverse and potential short term threats from technology that we may be facing.  You’ll recognise Merryn as she regularly appears on radio and television as a commentator on financial matters.
Matthew Syed will cover Psychology, Performance and Continuous Improvement – unlocking the ultimate CEO within yourself, thriving in a change state and always moving forwards.  The science of high achievement is Matthew’s area of expertise and he’s provided thought-leadership to many household name companies including Amazon, Goldman Sachs and Google.
Paralympian and former recruiter Martine Wright will be talking to us about over coming challenges.  Martine lost both her legs in the 7/7 terrorist attacks on London Underground and has since rebuilt her life, skydived, learned to fly and become a member of the British 2012 Paralympic sitting volleyball team!  She tells us how.
Joff Sharpe, who after a successful ten-year career in the army has held a number of senior roles in such blue-chip companies as Mars, PepsiCo, Vodafone and News International will talk about the lessons we can learn from the military to drive exceptional business growth.
Peter Gold Storyteller, mysterious marketer, writer, sales growth, HR tech analyst, AI prognosticator, ultra-marathon runner will be bringing his expertise in how to stand out in a crowded market.


We also have panel sessions on tech and tech disruption with reps from key industry suppliers including Bullhorn, Sourcebreaker, LinkedIn and Facebook.  We’re also excited to be welcoming Alex Farrell (Dice and Gift Wink), Ricky Thomas (The Dash) and Charlie Taylor (Debut) to our Disruptor Panel.


Finally, we have 90’s ‘hard men’ of British football John Hartman and Razor Ruddock to share with us some colourful stories ranging from John’s almost impossible fight against cancer to sledging pretty much everyone who played the beautiful game.


As if that weren’t enough there will be plenty of time for socialising, networking and as always, some collaborative thinking at the dinners, drinks and parties we’re arranging.  The final night will see us holding a private party at the famous Blue Marlin in support of OPERA the Global Youth Foundation – the only national charity built by the recruitment industry to empower young people to thrive not just survive.  Youth unemployment is one of the defining features of a generation, we believe that we can change this together.  Look out for OPERA’s founder and CEO, Esther O’Callaghan OBE, on the decks!
